Taking place later this month, Gauteng’s SANSUI Summer Cup is shaping up to once again be the most eagerly anticipated event at the Turffontein Racecourse.
As part of their plan to attract racing and music lovers alike this year, organizers today announced ‘Sound Experience’ – a music festival set to introduce the horseracing event to new people.
Aptly themed the ‘Peoples Race,’ this year’s event (which comes to life on Saturday, the 26th November 2016) has something to offer everyone according to organizers.
From the avid horse racing afficianado and the new-generation race goer to the music fan, socialite and members of the media – it’s an event you certainly don’t want to miss.
A number of confirmed hip-hop elite are headlining the Sound Experience stage and this includes the award winning Kwesta, Major League DJ’s, new school rapper Yanga and Family Tree Records‘ first lady, Nadia Nakia.
House duo DJ sensation Twins on Decks alongside many more will also feature on the lineup.
“With the inclusion of the Sound Experience this year, we set out to make the Gauteng SANSUI Summer Cup the single annual event to look forward to in Johannesburg for years to come,” said Sound Experience organizer, Russell Scott, in a statement.
“This year we infuse fashion, food and music with the ambience and elegance of the world horse racing.”
Racecourse gates open at 11am and tickets are available for only R75 at Computicket.
