A Look Back at the 2016 African Hair Awards

With its skyline view and chef prepared signature meals, T.A.S.T.E Lounge served as the hosting venue for the 5th annual African Hair Awards.

Aimed at acknowledging the contribution and work done by key players in the African Hair Industry and presenting consumers with a platform across the African Continent to engage and recognize ethnic industry players, the 2016 African Hair Awards with support from the DTI, Services SETA and Amarula were nothing but extravagant.

The awards were hosted by former beauty queen, Gareth Brown, showcasing hair trends through numerous hair collections displayed by both the stylists and salons. The platform not only gave consumers elements of what is trending in the black hair space but also provided an opportunity to showcase the crafts and talent in the industry.
